I’m a registered nurse with almost 10 years experience. Due to my husband’s job, we just moved to Connecticut recently, where I found a job at a local hospital. (I won’t name names.) Anyway, my last hospital was high-traffic, high-triage, etc. So, I have seen a lot of things and been through a lot these last ten years. What I am trying to say here, is that I am used to “gutting it out”.
So although it is a little bit slower and calmer, my new place is still a hospital. It’s busy and doctors and nurses need to work together as a well-oiled machine. But when there is one arsehole that junks up the whole machine, it’s unbearable! Its the top nurse and she is incompetent and she is making my life miserable!
She is the most demanding, socially-inept, ugly inside and out person I have ever met. Terrible bed side manner. Terrible attitude with the doctors. Terrible everything!
What’s worse is that she isn’t even qualified to be a nurse. She lacks the skills and the knowledge to effectively treat patients and she takes it out on all of us! She really needs some nursing training and stat!
And if there were attitude training, she needs that too!
